Stripped of love By:Andrew Rogers Stripped of love, caring, happiness and joy, toiled and nearly naked to the evils of a strange world. European settlers escaped a repressive governing empire in search of a new start and a new life. Europeans brought the Africanââ¬â¢s to America in order to escape the further hardships of creating this new home. Wholly unseen as individuals simply rounded up and corralled like animals for the slaughter; slaves suffered unrelentingly. Not knowing who you are and scarcely knowing where you are, to be a slave and to be nothing as long as you shall live is a punishment worse than death. What evils ravaged the minds of Europeans, was it environment, survival, religion, or upbringing that plagued the European mind. How was this institution of slavery created, and what were the roles of slaves in the formation of America. Colonial America, wild and deadly, a land entirely to pristine and vast for any European eyes to gaze upon, nothing but death and disease followed the European conquests throughout the world. The trials of time have brought evidence of European horror, from religious wars and persecutions of ethnic cleansing to mindless killings and mass destruction. The Europeans have touched in one way or another most every part of the world with its evil hand, all in the name of greed, glory and power. The effect of the European empire has left the world in a worse state forever remembering the horrors of first contact. Native Americans suffered first and foremost the destructive ways and deceitful days of the European conquest of the North American continent. Crushing the Native American peoples into submission and almost eradicating the people from the very existence of North America. Was it human nature of the Europeans, was it religion or was it just accepted to have entirely no regard for any life other than your own.
